Betting Wrong
Betting Wrong in craps means that the player is betting against the shooter instead of with them. This usually includes Don’t Pass and Don’t Come bets, where the player wants the roll to stop the shooter from getting a successful result. It is the direct opposite of Betting Right.
How does it work?
At the start of the round, the logic is simple: on Don’t Pass, the player wants a 2 or 3 on the come-out roll, while a 12 usually results in a push rather than a win. Once the point is set, the bet wins if a 7 appears before that number is rolled again. That is why Betting Wrong is often seen as the colder side of the table: it can feel like you are playing against the general mood, even though it is a normal part of craps.
